I survived the apocalypse!

Well who knew we'd all wake up alive and well on December 22nd? I was hoping I would, and it turns out I did^^

Anyway, I'm back from my Christmas holiday break, which was awesome. I spent so much time with my boyfriend and we had a lot of fun watching movies, playing games, and just snuggling. I also got him into Sims 3, so I may've corrupted him, but meh, it's an awesome game (just way too addicting).

Just some basics of my time away:
Christmas went very well this year, though compared to last year, I could've gotten a stocking full of shit and coal this year and been perfectly happy (for those who aren't aware, we had a few deaths in the family last year, namely my aunt the week before Christmas). A summary of my gifts: A couple of gift cards, lots of chocolate, an amazing penguin shirt, 2 movies: Brave and Fullmetal Alchemist...something or other (I haven't watched that one yet), AND **drumroll** Sims 3: Supernatural and Sims 3: Seasons They are amazing and I love my new supernatural characters, who look even cooler playing in the snow in Seasons. I've probably put in 80+ gameplay hours so far, and that number will probably continue if I can finish my homework for the weekends.

I met some of my boyfriend's family over the break (on Christmas actually). We spent the day with them, and they seem like good people. My very quiet boyfriend didn't exactly introduce me very well, but hopefully they got a good impression of me.
Also, my grandmother knows about him now. If Mom could've just used her brain while they talked.... Anyway, it doesn't seem too bad. She's mainly doing the whole "She better not drop out of school!" stuff, but I already knew that. That's the only subject I get bitchy over in the relationship, so can I really drop school for him? Uh, no. But thanks Grandma for the encouragement^^

Got my grades back from last semester. I made a B in my math class, which is a miracle grade considering I failed 2 of the 3 tests (she counts the final as double, then halves it to replace your lowest test grade. My original grades were a 68, 89, and 54. I made a 170 on the final, giving me an 85 instead of a 54, and giving me my B). My English classes were both A's, but Geology, the class filled with talkative bitches who should jump off a cliff and never cross my path again^^, I got a C in. I hope it doesn't mess with my averages too much since I am on scholarship, but doing well this semester should counter that. I've been to all my classes as of yet, and I hope there's a good chance there.

I also want to announce that I'll be online a little more frequently. I have classes 4 days a week now, so I'll be here every day for a few hours. Hopefully I can be a little more active with this time, but I probably should use it to study.... You guys are pretty important to me too, so I'll make time for both
